Dimitrije Ostojic, MANS worker who was arrested for the attack on Nikola Markovic and Vanja Calovic in their home has been remanded in 30 day custody due to the risk of repeating the crime, The Basic Court confirmed for CdM.
Ostojic’s attorney Sava Kostic earlier told CdM that his client pleaded that he injured Markovic in self-defence. He claimed that Markovic attacked him first.
The incident occurred because of a dispute over the payment of works that Ostojic performed in Markovic and Calovic’s apartment.
Ostojic came to the apartment on Saturday and asked Calovic to pay a €435 bill, which, as Markovic said, was too expensive for that kind of repairs.
Ostojic is a long-time employee of MANS and performed minor repairs in the couple’s apartment.
