From 2019 to the end of June this year, the State Investment Agency received 213 requests for the so-called “economic passport” of Montenegro.
According to the Government document, these applications were submitted by five licensed agents for promotion and mediation, with approval for representation of foreign investors in our country.
The project of “economic citizenship” was supposed to enable investors in the tourism, agriculture and processing sectors to get our citizenship.
According to the plan of the previous government, which designed the entire project, from the beginning of 2019 to the end of this year, a maximum of 2,000 requests were expected to arrive.
