Pajović: Legal violence will be brought to court

Darko Pajović

Commenting on the gesture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that lied to host countries by informing them that tenures of seven Montenegrin ambassadors were terminated on 16 February, but it was actually on 25 February, that is, when the President of Montenegro signed the decree on recalling them, former Montenegro’s Ambassador to China, Darko Pajović, has said that “lying and deceiving the domestic and international public is very irresponsible and extremely inappropriate”.

Pobjeda daily reported yesterday that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro had deceived the international public, as well as the host countries, as it informed them that the tenure of ambassadors – Mr Miodrag Vlahović, Mr Darko Pajović, Ms Sanja Vlahović, Ms Vera Kuliš, Ms Dušanka Jeknić, Mr Tarzan Milošević and Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić – terminated on 16 February.

Even though their tenure, according to Pobjeda, lasted until two days ago, the illegally appointed chargés d’affaires took over as their replacement by the order of the ministry.

They were picking locks, searched premises of the embassies and used official seals despite the possibility of being accused of committing a criminal offence along with those who had ordered them to do so.

Ambassadors Miodrag Vlahović and Darko Pajović were brutally targeted. “We warned of illegal actions of competent bodies. The paradox is that some were calling on our responsibility and today we witness that certain people of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are going to take responsibility,” Mr Pajović says.
