Parent attacks teacher in a high school in Tuzi

A parent of one of the students attending the 25. Maj high school in Tuzi, who was expelled from this school based on the teaching council’s decision, physically attacked a sociology teacher L.G. on Monday at about 1pm within school premises.

According to the school management, the case was immediately reported to the police. The police reacted rapidly, after which the attacker was brought in the police station and gave a statement.

“Tensions are expected in school on the day when the decision to expel several students is to be formalised. The school treats to the matter with full responsibility. The current situation in the school is calm and at a satisfactory level,” it was the only comment given by the school principal Miliana Dabovic.

Mass brawls among students, which broke in the Tuzi-based high school on 17 and 18 October, was the reason for the teaching council to expel 12 students from the school, whereas 22 of them have been officially reprimanded.
