Parliament passed the 2025 state budget, the opposition didn’t attend the session

The Parliament of Montenegro has adopted the 2025 state budget and the decision on borrowing of Montenegro for 2025. A total of 46 MPs voted in favour of the budget, while one abstained. The opposition MPs didn’t attend the session.

MPs also passed the amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law, envisaging that users of proportional pensions would also be granted the minimum pension in the amount of €450.

Earlier, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) stated the parties of the opposition would not attend the parliament’s session voting on the budget.
