Although the members of the Parliament of Montenegro were debating the election of three members of the Judicial Council from among distinguished lawyers and the election of the Supreme State Prosecutor, the plenum talked about the events in Cetinje in September 2021, the decisions and intentions of former Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapic, and the dismissal of Zoran Brdjanin. There was a polemic between URA MP Dritan Abazovic and DNP leader Milan Knezevic. Both of them described what was happening in Cetinje at that time, and how Krivokapic’s government fell.
Former judge of the Constitutional Court Miodrag Ilickovic and lawyers Fikret Kurgas and Drazen Medojevic are candidates for the election of three members of the Judicial Council from among distinguished lawyers. The only candidate for Supreme State Prosecutor is Maja Jovanovic.
