The hope that Montenegro will one day be a part of the European Union was intended to be trampled by the political parliamentary majority led by the Democratic Front with the spicy action of a party that declaratively inherits European values and essentially acts as a pendant of the pro-Serbian political corps, which is URA.
By passing the unconstitutional law on the president, which the Venice Commission recommended not to adopt, and the EU called on the leaders to respect those recommendations, Montenegro is definitely changing its foreign policy course, erasing a decade of negotiations, turning to the Open Balkans, Serbia and the pro-Russian factor of destruction dreams of a modern and advanced society of development, opportunities and a better life.
It was already announced last night that the majority of the 41 MPs plan to limit the president’s powers by law, appoint a representative themselves, form a new government and move on, as they have planned and as they wish.
The announced action is leading Montenegro to anarchy and total chaos.
Goodbye West! For Montenegro, the course is now Belgrade, Moscow and the Open Balkans.
As for the Open Balkans, it is speculated that the outgoing PM Dritan Abazovic will sign the accession document in Belgrade perhaps this week. Now that he is already in Belgrade, he will not have to do it under the veil of secrecy, as he did when he signed the Agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
