On the location of former military quarters a “One and only” resort worth half a billion euros is being built, which is financed by Azerbaijan oil company SOCAR.
According to the plan, on a 248.000 meters squared location in Kumbor there will be: “One and Only” luxury hotel with 120 rooms, “ESPA” fitness and wellness center on 3.000 meters squared, than conference and banquet halls, a port, 500 luxury apartments and villas that will serve the hotel, a fishing wharf with fish and organic food market place for selling seasonal, locally produced groceries.
By 2017 a luxury touristic complex will be built with a village, a port with 250 knots, as well as a sand beach with 900 places.
Although it was planned for the whole project to be finished by May of 2016, there’s been a delay in its realization. As it seems now, luxury touristic complex will be fully operational in 2017.
Out of 500 million euros of planned investments, Azmont Investments company invested almost 94 million euros so far.
