A patient who was hospitalised in the Clinical Centre of Montenegro (KCCG) for dehydration passed away, the national hospital confirmed to CdM.
As it stated, the patient was admitted as an emergency case.
“He had increased glycaemic index (GI) and abnormal sodium levels, which may indicate that he had chronic illnesses. Due to a short course of hospitalisation, it was not possible to determine the degree of organic damage, and it is not possible to rule out the role of high temperatures in the fatal outcome,” KCCG stated.
The exact cause of death will be known after autopsy.
