Pazin does not get involved in court procedures

Vice prime minister and Minister of Justice Zoran Pazin said that he respects his competencies as a Minister of Justice and he does not get involved in court procedures.

He made this statement in the Parliament of Montenegro, responding to MPs questions.

DF MP Marija Jocic asked him whether “DF persecution is a regularly scheduled work obligation of all judges and prosecutors or only of those closest to the regime”. Pazin said he was not fit to respond to questions concerning courts, but only the government jurisdiction.

He underlined that any influence on the judiciary system was prohibited.

„I am not managing the court system, so your question is fiction. Judiciary does not respond to influences”, Pazin said.
