Niksic-based Uniprom company, owned by businessman Veselin Pejovic, was the largest Montenegrin exporter in 2017. The top importer was the TCK Montenegro company, dealing in wood, construction material, and sanitary equipment, the Customs Administration told Dnevne Novine.
Uniprom is the company managing KAP aluminium plant. Last year, the company exported 42,000 tons of aluminium produced in KAP.
Other largest exporters include Pljevlja-based Vektra Jakic; Turkish Toscelik company which manages Niksic-based steelworks; Gradir Montenegro owned by Polish Boleslaw company, which manages the lead and zinc mines in Pljevlja; Niksic-based Trebjesa brewery; the Jasen Pljevlja company; Plantaze; Bijelo Polje-based Pelengic Trade and Rozaje-based Jela Commerce.
