A petition demanding abolition of all illegal possessions of the Serbian Orthodox Church over the Montenegrin monasteries and churches, and return of these properties to Montenegro’s ownership, was organized on the Court Square (Dvorski trg) in Cetinje yesterday.
“We’re pleased with the citizen’s will to sign the petition. We’re also glad we have started with such an initiative. Signing of the petition will be organized today (10am-2pm) on the Court Square in Cetinje,” said Montenegrin Orthodox Church deacon, Stefan Markovic.
Signing of the petition has been organized at the premises of billiards club “Biljarda” in Cetinje for several days already.
