Behind controversial design are Philippe Starck and Martin Francis, and it was built in shipyard Blohm + Voss, in Kiel, in Germany. It was named after the names of the owners Andrey and Alexandra Melnichenko, and it was delivered in July of 2008, and it’s estimated worth is 300 million dollars.
Yacht can take 14 guests who are settled in seven apartments, and it has 37 crew members, whose number can increase by five in special occasions. Owner’s apartment is particularly spacious and it is supposedly fully bullet-proof and even “bomb resistant”.
It also has two boats that are part of the yacht, with length 11 meters each, which by themselves cost one million dollars each.
