“Plantaže” complained: Russians don’t want Montenegrin wine

Company “Plantaže” managed on Monday to submit to Rospotrebnadzor the request  for the abolition of temporary prohibition of the import of wine produced in “Plantaže” at the territory of Russia.

Rospotrebnadzor is a Russian authority in charge of control and inspection affairs in the domain of trade and protection of the consumers’ rights that has been rejecting, for no reason at all, the request of the Montenegrin company ever since June.

“Considering that the procedures against our main distributor and sub-distributor initiated because of the alleged malfunction of our products finished in their favor, we received the recommendation from the lawyer team from Moscow to continue the procedure by requesting the Rospotrebnadzor to abolish the temporary prohibition of the import of our products at the territory of Russian Federation”, said Milan Milutinović, director of this company.

“Plantaže” invited the representatives of Rospotrebnadzor and their experts to come to Montenegro and visit the production capacities of “Plantaže” in Podgorica so that they can confirm the quality of products.

Milutinović reminded that at the end of February last year, “Plantaže” received the notification from the authority in charge of control and inspection affairs Rospotrebnadzor that our wines. i.e. series of specific types of wines they sampled have increased level of the pesticide metalaxyl and particles of plastic dipthalate. For that reason, that wine is harmful and must be withdrawn from the Russian market.
