PM Marković visited Cmiljača ski resort

Future Cmiljača ski resort and a tourist complex on Bjelasica as a whole will represent a new momentum for Montenegro’s economy and will create new jobs and opportunities for young people from Bijelo Polje, said the Montenegrin Prime Minister Duško Marković while visiting the construction site of the center earlier today.

“I wanted to see what has been done this year at the very end of the construction season, how the works are going on and how to best prepare to continue with even greater intensity in 2020. When it comes to the development of the Bjelasica Mountain and ski resorts on Bjelasica, the Government is now focusing on Cmiljača. We want to put it into operation ASAP,” the Prime Minister said.

He continued: “Therefore, we’ve been implementing our development plan when it comes to Cmiljača and Bijelo Polje as a whole. The total value of the project is €23 million – €17 million of signed contracts, €10 million of contracts enforced.”

The projected cable car capacity is 2,600 skiers per hour and it will be almost 1.4 km long.
