The latest water quality analyses show turbidity levels at the Mareza water source remain slightly above the limit allowed by regulations. State authiorities continue to advise residents, particularly children, pregnant women, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems, to boil water before use or rely on safe alternative sources, such as water from controlled supply systems, the Podgorica Water and Sewerage Company announced.

They also state consumers will be promptly informed of any changes.

The following Podgorica neighborhoods use water from the Mareza pumping station: Mareza, Tolosi, Blok V and VI, the area across the Moraca River, the city center, the area below Gorica Hill, Malo Brdo, Stara Varos, Zabjelo, Pobrezje, Zelenika, Dahna, Dajbabe, City Kvart, parts of Zeta, Gornja and Donja Gorica, Donji Kokoti, Grbavci, Lekici, Farmaci and Beri.
