Podgorica-Ljubljana flights to be increased

Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Mr Pavle Radulović, met with the newly appointed ambassador of Slovenia to Montenegro, Mr Gregor Presker, and highlighted excellent air-connection between Montenegro and Slovenia. He also emphasized stable growth in the number of passengers on Podgorica-Ljubljana line, but also discussed the possibility for increasing number of flights on that line.

Main topics in the meeting were program for the development assistance as mechanism for cooperation and harmonization between Montenegrin and Slovenian priorities.

Mr Radulović and Mr Presker agreed that it was necessary to intensify activities envisaged by the Agreement on the Program for Development Cooperation between Republic of Slovenia and Government of Montenegro.

The focus of the meeting was on the development of projects in the field of ecology and environment, aimed at acknowledging the importance of education and raising awareness of the environment protection and the importance of proper waste management.

Ambassador Presker expressed his satisfaction with the success of bilateral cooperation in tourism.
