Police is looking for those who have killed Ivan Nedovic on Friday, injuring his acquaintance Milic Minja Sakovic in the process. The shooting happened downtown, in the cafe next to Auto Zeta in Vaka Djurovica street.
Pobjeda daily learned that the police still has not questioned any witnesses. According to unofficial information, Milic Sakovic was accompanied by his brother Marko, and they spent half an hour at the cafe, which points to the fact that he was being followed.
It is interesting that the Special prosecutor’s office and special police team are not involved in the case that is a possible continuation of a fight between Skaljari and Kavac clans.
Nedovic while he was sitting with Sakovic. He did not have a police record nor was he involved in criminal activities. Investigations points to the target being Sakovic.
Nedovic died on his way to the hospital, while Sakovic underwent surgery. He is now at the department of surgury, under strong police protection.
The BMW used in the shooting was found a few hours later in Donje Mrke in Piperi. It was burned along with the rifle, which confirms that the action was carefully planned.
Sakovic and his friend Stevan Stamatovic seem to be connected with Budva group lead by Marko Ljubisa Kan, which is under protection by Skaljari clan. Milic Sakovic was recently questioned in the prosecution, within an investigation on assassination preparation of Radojica Zekovic from Niksic, who is close to Kavac clan. This investigation was lead against four individuals, and Stevan Stamatovic is suspected to have organized the action. He is currently running from the police, and an international warrant is issued for him.
