After months of investigation, on the basis of the collected operational information and evidence found at the crime scene, the police managed to get a firm proof that the person it seeks is a direct perpetrator of the murder of Andrija Mrdak.
In the interest of the search, the identity of this person has not been revealed, but the police claim it is a matter of days when he/she would be arrested. Apart from DNA of the perpetrator, the police have a video of the murder, the blood group of the perpetrator, his/her fingerprints on the weapons he/she dropped during the flight, as well as a cap with his/her DNA traces.
Mrdak was killed on December 25th last year in front of the ZIKS where he went to visit his brother Nenad, convicted for the murder of Mirko Micic.
He is considered to be one of the closest collaborators of murdered Armin Musa Osmanagic, the leader of one of the most powerful criminal clans in Bar. According to the police, on December 25th, two persons on a motorcycle “Yamaha” were waiting for Mrdak to appear in front of the ZIKS.
When he came out of an armoured “Audi A6” with his brother’s wife and headed towards the entry of the facility, the killers on the motorcycle approached the victim and fired several shots. At the crime scene, the police and forensic teams from Danilovgrad found a “Glock” pistol and six 9mm shell casings.
