Administrative board got agreement from the Parliament’s Collegium to visit countries in the region in order to compare experience on treatment of MPs who are in boycott, in terms of their reimbursements. Following the visit, we shall decide what to do in case of our Parliament, said Luidj Skrelja for Pobjeda daily.
“Montenegro is a unique example in that the MPs who are boycotting the Parliament are not suffering any consequences. Each salary must be a product of work done, and they currently do not do anything”, Skrelja said.
When asked if there is space to rationalize expenditures for salaries of other MPs as well, Skrelja said “that it does if they are ready to renounce that which belongs to them”.
Secretary General to decide on Danilovic and Abazovic rents
Luidj Skrelja said that Secretary General of the Parliament will pass a decision on requests of opposition MPs Goran Danilovic and Dritan Abazovic for payment of rent.
He said that the Administrative Board would deny that request, but they are interested to review the requests, which Secretary General approved of.
