President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic has commented on today’s message from the director of the Uniprom company, which owns KAP aluminium plant, Veselin Pejovic, who has announced the closure of KAP, stressing that over 500 workers will lose their jobs.
“Today, for political reasons, we have the last business entity shut down.You need to be cheeky and allow this arrogance to take place in our country.The real government would do everything to save investors, and the current one is treating them with revenge”, President Djukanovic has stated.
Uniprom, which owns KAP, stated earlier that it would suspend production due to high electricity prices and lay off 500 workers.
