On the invitation of the UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, will leave tomorrow for Glasgow to take part in the World Leaders Summit as part of the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), which will be held on 1-2 November, Mr Djukanovic’s office stated.
They also say that President Djukanovic will be a speaker at the high-level session on the first day of the summit, involving over 120 world’s leaders.
On the second day of his stay in Glasgow, on the invitation of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, and the EC President, Ursula von der Leyen, the President will take part at the gathering, which is to officially launch the EU’s and US’ initiative ‘Global Methane Pledge’.
