The work of the police this year is good, because the good results in all fields of their engagement were registered, said interior minister Mevludin Nuhodzic. He held a regular extended Police Directorate’s collegium in the Zlatica police camp with the head of the directorate Slavko Stojanovic. Stojanovic noted that there was a progress in solving certain murders committed in the previous period.
As Police Directorate announced, joint engagement and cooperation among police units contributed to the increase in the level of trust in the police, which can be further strengthened by even more direct and better cooperation with citizens.
The minister said that the police performed their tasks well, both in complex situations and in matters related to Montenegro’s membership in NATO and the visit of US Vice President Mike Pence to Montenegro, as well as other high-level officials from abroad.
The trend of good results, as Police Directorate added in the statement, must be continued in the upcoming period. The results can be even better with the maximum engagement according to priorities, among which the most important is the fight against organised crime.
