The former director of the Customs and Revenue Administration, Rade Milosevic, was arrested this evening on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization, CdM has learnt.
“According to the order of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, the Special Police Department deprived the former director of the Revenue and Customs Administration of his freedom, due to the grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization”, state prosecutor and spokesman of the Special State Prosecutor’s Office Vukas Radonjic has told CdM.
He points out that he cannot give more details at the moment.
Milosevic was arrested at the beginning of October in an operation by the Special Police Department on the orders of the National Security Agency and the Special State Prosecutor’s Office, on suspicion of being part of an organized chain that stole and smuggled some cigarettes, which the state confiscated last summer in the Free Customs Zone of the Port of Bar.
