Intensified economic relations should follow very good political relations between Montenegro and Ukraine, and there’s a room for this to happen in the sectors of energy, metallurgy, information technology, tourism and agriculture – it was assessed at the meeting between the secretary general of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, Mr Pavle Radovanović, and the head of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Gennadiyem Chyzhykov.
“Both sides considered possibilities for strengthening the economic cooperation between Montenegro and Ukraine, as well as reinforcing partnership of their business associations. Mr Radovanović presented Mr Chyzhykov the pending investment projects, as well as those that are planned for the priority sectors of the Montenegrin economy, which might be interesting for Ukrainian businessmen,” the Chamber of Commerce said in a statement.
It was noted that both institutions could contribute to the strengthening of economic cooperation by organizing a forum, which would gather businessmen from the two countries, once the Covid-19 pandemic ends.
