It is indisputable that I am not obliged to return the severance pay to the Budva Riviera hotel group, says the executive director of ToMontenegro, Sasa Radovic, who until June 2021 was the chairman of the board of the Budva company, which is majority state-owned. On 15 December last year, the government appointed Radovic as the acting executive director of the national airline.
Commenting on the position of the board of directors of Budva Riviera that he should return the severance pay worth €76,000, Radovic has recalled that on 17 June, at the regular Budva Riviera shareholder meeting, the need for his involvement in that company ceased, so he was dismissed from the position of chairman of the board, on the basis of which he was paid severance pay.
This is Radovic’s second severance pay in his career. He received his first one in March 2015, when he left the National Tourism Organization by mutual consent, where he had been director since 2007. On that occasion he received €19,000 in severance pay.
