Company Railway Transport owes to the state 3.7 million EUR for the last years taxes and contributions to personal income. Audit report of this company shows that 613,7 thousands are owed for taxes, 1.5 million EUR is owed to Pension Insurance Fund, 825,7 thousand for health care and 156 thousand for surtax. Residential contributions debt is 444,7 thousands, and other contributions 134,9 thousand EUR, Dan daily reports.
According to the official data of Tax Administration, ZPCG is at the top of the list of debtors based on tax and contributions to personal income. Seeing as this company has been using state aid so far, it has no right to apply for re programming of tax obligations. Still, the business of ZPCG is of public interest, and Tax Administration and the Government are looking for the ways to resolve the debt of this and other railway companies, so as to avoid bankruptcy.
The company has been paying net salaries with taxes and contributions, while other litigations have been disbursed from VAT credit. The last closure was on August 22nd 2016 for 218,5 thousand EUR, and it was used to pay off litigations concluding with November 2014. VAT credit was 253.380 thousand EUR in the end of this year, and litigations 3.7 million.
At the end of last year, ZPCG employed 399 individuals.
ZPCG ended last year with smaller losses than the year before. In 2016 they had a deficit of 53,3 thousand EUR, while in 2015 they had a deficit of 1.6 million EUR.
The Government has recently replaced some members of the board of directors of this company.
