The current director of the Gradac municipal company Ranko Misnic is a likely candidate for the president of the Municipality of Mojkovac, learns CdM. If Misnic is elected, he will take over the city from Dejan Medojevic.
Misinic could neither confirm nor deny the information.
“There are speculations about that. However, I would like to say that the decision on this issue will be made by the party. The position of the party is the most important in this case, there is nothing more I can tell you,” Misnic said.
Earlier, the current mayor Medojevic did not want to comment on whether he would be re-appointed.
“The party bodies will decide on this. It is clear that DPS will be the strongest party in terms of human resources,” he told CdM in an earlier statement.
DPS won 20 seats in the Mojkovac City Council at the local elections held on 26 November.
