According to this research, that Pobjeda had an insight in, against memership in NATO 46 percent of citizens would vote. The turnout on the eventual referendum would be almost 70 percent citizens, and 65 percent of surveyed people believe that the option for NATO would win.
Compared to the research of the same agency in June the number of citizens that would vote for NATO was increased by five percent, because that research showed that 47 percent of the citizens would vote for NATO.
Compared to February of 2015, the support for NATO membership increased by more than 10 percent.
When it comes to the other segment of the research, most citizens believe that Montenegro will become a member of NATO. According to this research, 58 percent of citizens believe that Montenegro will become a member of NATO alliance, while 31 doesn’t believe so.
Research was done by agency Ipsos strategic marketing from 11th to 18th of September on a sample of 1.100 citizens.
