The Ministry of Finance has prepared a Draft Revised Budget and it will be proposed to the Government on either 1 or 8 September, and submitted to the Parliament a day later, Minister Aleksandar Damjanovic has announced for Radio Montenegro.
“I expect that the revised budget, which will be presented to the MPs probably in late September, will be unanimously supported in the Parliament. By the way, I announced these things in the Parliament in a constructive discussion during the technical revised budget. That’s why I expect maximum support, synergy from the Parliament and the Governmentꓼ if there are some political changes, of course the next government will have to deal with these things”, the Minister has pointed out.
He adds that the first hole in the budget was identified in May – a €50m deficit for the Health Fund. In addition, he notes, the payments to mothers of three or more children have begun, obligations have also arisen due to the adjustment of pensions, and the difference between the minimum wage and the average pension was corrected, Damjanovic points out.
