During winter, Tivat Airport renovated the roof of Terminal 1 as well as the air-conditioning system, so they expect the situation during the forthcoming summer season to be much better.
“After several years of problems and attempts at renovation, the roof has been fixed. Now follows the renovation of the terminal’s interior. We improved the existing air conditioning system as well and installed new units. In this way, we believe, we have provided passengers and employees with a more pleasant environment for their stay in the terminal”, said Vladimir Prascevic, head of Tivat Airport.
Having in mind that the summer air travel season started on 31 March, while new routes have been opening, Tivat Airport for now has enough number of seasonal workers.
“We have enough staff for this period, until the peak summer season. However, announcements say there would be more arrivals in the period from June to September compared to last year, so we would need more people. We will announce vacancies soon, and call on all interested people to apply,” Mr Prascevic noted.
Tivat Airport will expand its capacities by opening Terminal 2 during May, which has so far been used only for departures.
