Head of the Deposit Protection Fund, Mr Predrag Marković, said the Fund is having €60 million right now of which €8.4 million will be used for paying out guaranteed deposits of Atlas and IBM banks, reported Dnevne Novine daily.
At the yesterday’s Parliament session, Mr Marković explained the Fund has available funds amounting to €51.7 million.
“Savers with Atlas Bank have been paid out €79.7 million so far out of the total of €90.2 million, while depositors of IBM bank have received €21.3 million out of the total of €22.3 million,” he said during the debate on the 2018 Annual Work Report of the Deposit Protection Fund.
It’s a total of €101 million for 11,000 clients of both banks, according to Mr Marković.
