After Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said to mothers gathered in front of the Parliament to go home to their children, member of Coordination board of mothers with three and more children, Zeljka Savkovic, said that they had no need to go home and take care of the children because they were grown up already.
„I didn’t even read Markovic’s statement, but I know this much – we do not have to go home and take care of our families. We raised our children well, some are parents themselves”, Savkovic said for CdM.
Mothers are in their fourth day of protests, and Savkovic said they had no plan to give up. She said that Markovic and the Government must get used to seeing them in front of the Parliament every day.
„We will not give up. You do your job and we will do ours”, Savkovic said.
Ministry of Interior Affairs has granted the gathering until March 7th, but mothers already submitted a request to prolong the permission.
