SDT to seize €27m worth assets from Skaljari and Kavac clans

The Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) has launched financial investigations against members of organised criminal groups, primarily several members of the Skaljari and the rival Kavac clans in order to determine the origin of their money.

Suspects for the most serious crimes, killings and attempted murders that were committed in an organized way have been under the SDT’s scrutiny. The value of the property to be seized is estimated at €27m.

According to the Real Estate Directorate, Igor Vukotic and Igor Dedovic, who are said to be leaders of the Skaljari clan, own 28,973 square metres of immovable property in total.

The members of the Kavac clan Slobodan Kascelan, Radoje Zvicer and Igor Bozovic are the owners of 21,495 square metres of real estate in total.
