Sea Dance returned guests from Western Europe

“What we need to do now is to try to position the festival here in long term and of course to preserve its exclusivity. In the future we will again run the story on signing 10 contracts because we believe that the Sea Dance has already justified the title of the best festival in the region and that its place is exactly at the beach of Jaz in Budva”, says the manager of the Municipality of Budva, Milena Marovic-Bogdanovic, who has led the local team in charge of the festival organisation.

Ms Marovic-Bogdanovic points out that the Sea Dance festival represents a continuation of branding Budva as a resort of elite events and a capital of modern tourism in the region.

“This is a new offer of Budva for various generations and it has just helped to slowly return guests from Western Europe. Tourists from 50 countries of the world have come here, but what is evident is the increase in arrivals of British tourists. We showed the world that we are one of the 10 most attractive destinations for entertainment,” says Ms Marovic-Bogdanovic.

Commenting on the effects, she points out that, among other things, all accommodation facilities in Lastva Grbaljska and Jaz were sold out long before the festival and that all visitors of this music spectacle visited the Budva, changing the structure of guests there.
