I do not believe that those who invest in the project of Serbian House in Podgorica have intention to abuse it for demonstrating destructive political projects, said MP of DPS Miodrag Vukovic for Pobjeda.
The Government of Serbia shall allocate 3.4 million EUR for this project. The facility which will house institutions that preserve Serbian culture and identity will be owned by the State of Serbia, whose Government decided to fund this project after an agreement between Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Andrija Mandic of DF was reached.
Vukovic said that this project could serve to expand the cooperation with Serbia.
He said there are already similar forms of cooperation in Montenegro, as it as an open and democratic state.
“There is an Institute of Confucius that has information on Chinese culture, past and present, available. Why would we see Serbian House in different light?”, Vukovic said.
President of Matica crnogorska Dragan Radulovic said that it is good that Serbian House in Podgorica will be owned by the State of Serbia.
