“Mobster of the highest caliber, he should run away as soon as possible and bring along Montenegrin ‘Arkan’ with him, Brano Micunovic. Otherwise, they will have to be tried, and it is not impossible that some Montenegrin ‘Meljak’ will be found for them”, Seselj said at a press conference, his Party announced.
The reference to “the Montenegrin Meljak” is a direct threat to the Prime Minister, bearing in mind that the “case Meljak” is in Serbian public known as the controversial liquidation of leaders of the infamous ‘Zemun Clan’, Dusan Spasojevic aka Shiptar and Mile Lukovic aka Kum.
According to the official version of the story, the arrest of Spasojevic and Lukovic, leaders of the largest criminal gang in Serbia, turned into a clash with the police in the village of Meljak near Belgrade, when they were both killed. Both men were suspected of involvement in a plot to assassinate Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.
The Prosecutor’s Office in Serbia then, at the initiative of Ivica Dacic, opened a new investigation into the “Meljak case” and the case still hasn’t been officially closed.
Seselj’s party has previously said it supports the protests of the Democratic Front and then deposed its official and member of the Central Homeland Administration, Robert Zizic, who objected to the proposal.
“SRP believes that Milo Djukanovic, the longtime dictator of Montenegro, shall resign as soon as possible so that the situation in Montenegro does not get worse and to avoid heavy bloodshed on the streets of Podgorica. Milo Djukanovic is a mobster, mafia boss, traitor of the Serbian people, who turned the republic of Montenegro into dictatorship, and the entire world considers him the last dictator in Europe. The man who spent nearly 30 years in power, should understand on his own that both the citizens of Montenegro and the entire Balkans is bored of him”, concluded Seselj.
