Future economic growth of Montenegro depends largely on our readiness to take advantage of the potentials the country has in the sectors of tourism, transport, energy and agriculture, said deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture, Milutin Simovic.
Addressing the participants of the 2nd Conference of Honorary Consuls of Montenegro, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Simovic said that international institutions and organisations such as the World Bank, the International Investment Fund, the European Investment Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, are engaged in priority infrastructure projects in Montenegro and in the Western Balkans region. It represents a good basis for cooperation between international financial institutions and organisations, private investors and the Government of Montenegro, Simovic added.
Simovic thanked the honorary consuls for their work so far and urged them to continue improving the relations between Montenegro and the countries they conduct their mission in all fields.
