The latest report of the German Federal Government suggests that as many as 6.151 people were deported from that country in the first three months of 2025, including six Montenegrin citizens. The data, published in the official document of the Bundestag (Drucksache 21/196), indicate the continuation of harsh deportation policy, the effects of which are increasingly felt in the Western Balkan countries, the RTCG portal reports.
Montenegro is thus among more than 90 countries to which Germany deported immigrants. The main deportation countries were Turkey, Georgia, France and Spain, while Montenegro is at the bottom of the list with a smaller number of deported people, but it’s still a significant figure considering the population and the number of Montenegrin citizens in Germany.
Although the number of Montenegro immigrants deported from Germany is not high, this data indicates that Germany has started using more restrictive immigration policies.
