Members, supporters and friends of the Socialist People’s Party, SNP, from all parts of Montenegro welcome the decision of the Government of Montenegro to adopt the aligned text of the Fundamental Agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church, SPC, this party said in a statement. As for threats and messages that the Government of Montenegro doesn’t enjoy support of the parliament, the SNP calls on everybody who thinks so to check it out.
“By adopting the Fundamental Agreement, we prove that we keep our word in politics and once again remind of the truth that the honourable SNP fulfils every promise they give,” their statement suggests.
The Serbian Orthodox Church, according to them, has an important role in the history of Montenegro and has the largest number of worshippers in Montenegro.
