After a tarpaulin with the face of Amfilohije was pulled over a residential building in the town of Nikšić, the Non-Governmental Organization ‘Ćirilica’ sent a request to occupants of a building in Bratstva and Jedinstva Street in the capital Podgorica, asking for the approval to paint the mural of the late Metropolitan on their building.
The letters says the NGO will first repaint a facade of the wall and then set up scaffolding for workers.
“Therefore, beside the mural, you’ll have the facade of your building repainted,” the NGO ‘Ćirilica’ notes.
The deadline for occupants to respond to the letter is 1 March.
“When we collect 50% + 1 signatures, our representative will come with an official list so that you may leave your signature,” they concluded.
