We’ve received many messages from investors who are disgusted with ignorance of the Finance Minister, Aleksandar Damjanovic. This is done for political reasons and to hide ignorance and inactivity of the finance minister who signed a loan at 7.5% interest rate. It’s an important thing because citizens are paying off a much greater loan. The minister took us back to a period 11 or 12 years ago,” the Leader of the Europe Now Movement and former Finance Minister, Milojko Spajic, has said.
At yesterday’s session of the government, the Finance Minister, Aleksandar Damjanovic, demanded the investigation over legality of bonds sale when Milojko Spajic was running that ministry back in 2020. According to documentation showed by Mr Damjanovic at the session, Mr Spajic fraudulently transferred 3.5 million euro to the account of the Central Bank. He claims that he’s going to submit documentation to the prosecutor’s office.
After that, the PES official, Janko Odovic, asked why Minister Damjanovic fabricated the bonds affairs yesterday. “Because he wanted to distract people from the presidential candidacy of Milo Djukanovic. No one from the Democratic Front will raise their hand against Djukanovic’s candidacy even though the law clearly stipulates that he may run for the country’s presidency only twice”.
PES official, Branko Krvavac, kindly asked all politicians who are doing this not to do it for political reasons because, as he says, they won’t dip the rating of Europe Now but the entire Montenegro.
They also say that they sued Nebojsa Medojevic for honour abuse.
