Marija Stajovic resigned last night as the Acting Managing Director of the Directorate for Social Welfare and Child Protection in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, run by Milojko Spajic. Ms Stajovic informed her colleagues about her decisions late last night via a letter, Dnevne Novine has learned.
She was the closest associate of Minister Spajic in the area of social protection and used to be a member of the Commission for election of heads of organizatons dealing with social and child protection.
Recall, the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare was often called on for the unlawful public competitions for heads of social welfare and child protection organizations.
