A hundred companies included in the Tax Administration’s black list owe €68m for contributions, of which around €29m refers to state-owned companies. This debt is owed by 7 state companies, the list shows. If the list is extended to companies where the state is a significant shareholder, but not a majority one, then the debt would be increased by over €10m.
The largest debtor is Montenegro Airlines, which owes €17.1m. It is followed by Plantaze (€4.4m), Railway Transport (€3.8m), Railway Infrastructure (€1.99m) and Railway transport Means Maintaining Company (€1.5m).
The Pljevlja Coal Mine, where one third of the shares is state-owned, is among the first ten debtors. This company owes €7.8m for taxes and contributions. Galenika, which is 25% state-owned, owes €2m.
