Local administrations will get the new mechanism for a regular and reliable way of filling the budget thanks to the fees for the arrangement of the construction land. This way, they can plan and project the investment in the improvement of the construction structure.
Montenegro will soon pass two new documents – Spatial Plan of Montenegro and General Regulation Plan which will annul all spatial plans made so far and which concern different levels, including the special purposes regarding the protected areas.
“General Regulation Plan is expected to define construction zones, where the legalization won’t be allowed, and the areas in need of the reconstruction”, said in the interview with “Vikend novine” Pavle Radulović, Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development.
He also said that the new documents about development zones in tourism in the northern and central part of the Montenegro are soon to be passed. This will stimulate the development of small and medium- sized enterprises and create conditions for greater investments.
„A minimum of 50 five (or more) – star accommodation facilities, will be built in the area of one hectare and the minimal amount of the investment in the tourism development area amounts 3 million EUR“, he said.
„We don’t mind temporary-built facilities- they are actually quite necessary- but we do mind their number, location and incompatibility. That’s why the new law stipulates the regulations on type, form and dimensions of the temporary facilities“ added Radulović.
