The Supreme Court has proposed Valentina Pavlicic as the president of that court.
“The Supreme Court Bench has determined the proposal suggesting Valentina Pavlicic, a national consultant of the Council of Europe for the rule of law, concerning the implementation of verdicts of the European Court of Human Rights into the national legislative system, as the president of the Supreme Court,” it was said in a statement of the court.
Other candidates were: judge of the Supreme Court, Ana Vukovic, acting President of the Supreme Court, Vesna Vuckovic and President of the Administrative Court, Miodrag Pesic.
