“The European Union should be embarrassed for not having Montenegro as a member of that alliance”, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, in the TVCG’s Focus show.
He has stressed that Montenegro has fulfilled its obligations, and that if it was up to him, Montenegro would already be a member of the Union.Szijjarto has also said that the negotiation process has been going on for too long, for no reason.
“I think 2023 or 2024 are realistic dates to join, from our perspective”, Szijjarto has said.
