European Parliament Speaker Antonio Tajani said that he was open for all meetings, but there were no such requests from political parties in Montenegro.
When asked why he did not meet representatives of the opposition, Tajani said that he was a guest of the Montenegrin Parliament and that he could talk with anyone present there, underscoring that he set no limits on who of the MPs he wanted to meet.
Commenting on opposition’s message that he had failed to meet “a half of Montenegro”, Tahani said that when it comes to Montenegro’s internal affairs, it was not on him to decide on activities of political parties
“I had a chance to meet the leadership of the Parliament, and I was open to all other meetings, but there were no such requests from any political parties”, Tajani told journalists.
