The Montenegrin Government presented today the Fiscal Strategy and the Europe Now 2 programme. Prime Minister Milojko Spajic announced at a press conference that starting in October, salaries in Montenegro would be higher.
“The minimum salary for those having finished high school will be €600, while for those with university degree it will be €800. Pensions, except for the minimum one, will be increased by 7%-8% as of January. The VAT rate remains at 21%, and the unified VAT for the catering sector will be 15%”, Spajic said.
The Government assures that the Europe Now 2 programme will not cause inflation.
The Fiscal Strategy is under public debate starting today and will last for about 20 days.
