Tax Administration collected nearly €90m during summer

From the beginning of June to the end of August, the Tax Administration collected a total of €89.89 million, which is by €6.7 million higher than planned, i.e. €13.13 million more compared to the same period last year, writes Dnevne Novine daily.

In fact, these are the figures suggested in the report on the outcomes of this year’s tourism season, adopted by the Government of Montenegro at the latest session. The document, which shows results from four cities – Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva and Bar – says that an increase in the collection of key types of revenues has been recorded.

“We have achieved very successful results during the summer tourism season. Also, the number of controls carried out indicates that all available capacities of the Tax Administration were engaged for supervision and control of taxpayer risk groups,” it was suggested in the document.

Numerous activities referring to the monitoring of compliance with tax regulations were conducted not only on the Montenegrin coast but across the whole country.
